Vitaliy has eleven years of experience in both investment banking at Credit Suisse and at a start-up technology company, Ener1, Inc.  He is a creative problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to consistently produce results in a timely fashion.  He is globally oriented and open-minded to cross-cultural diversity and ambiguity.

Vitaliy was staff to the President at Ener1, Inc., a global technology company with investments in the lithium-ion, electric vehicle and fuel cell spaces.  He worked in corporate finance, M&A, strategy and business development. He negotiated a multimillion dollar business deal with the world’s largest power generating company, he developed investment banking experience as an associate in Credit Suisse’s Power and Renewables group, and at Credit Suisse’s NY CDO desk.

Vitaliy was born in Russia and grew up in Kazakhstan.  Early in his life he developed a passion for tennis.  He was a top-ranked junior in Russia and is currently a nationally-ranked tennis player in the U.S.  He is fluent in English and Russian and conversational in Spanish.

Vitaliy holds an SB degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard University.
